"I love writing. I love the swirl and swing of words as they tangle with human emtions," James A. Michener.

The wind is blowing
Away the memories.
The times and things we did
Are fading in the darkness.
All is starting to disappear
And it doesn't matter.

You said you would
Never leave me.
You said you would
Always be there.
You said I could
Always count on you.
You said those things
But you didn't mean them.

There is a wall
That is between us.
We both see that wall
But neither of us says anything.
It's too hard to say it
And we both know it.

We're both changing
Growing apart from each other.
We're becoming different
Less like we were.
Soon the old us will
Only be a memory.
Then that too will
Start to fade in the night.
