SILENT TEARS

SILENTLY LETTING GO OF MY TEARS
CRYING ABOUT MY CHILD YEARS
TRYING TO FORGET FOR EVER
BUT I CANT NOW, NOR NEVER
TEARS RUNNING DOWN MY TENDER FACE
I STILL REMEMBER THAT PLACE
IT WAS COLD, DARK AND SCARY
AT THAT TIME I BELIEVED IN A FAIRY
I CANT REMEMBER HER NAME
SHE WOULD TAKE AWAY MY PAIN
SHE JUST NEVER CAME
I WAITED AND WAITED, REALY SCARED
THE DARK ROOM WAS DRIVING ME INSANE
EVERYDAY I SCREAMED FOR HER TO HELP ME
BUT SHE DIDNT COME, I WAS STUCK THERE
AND MY FATHER LAUGHED
MY MOTHER DID NOTHING, SHE DIDNT CARE
LOCKED UP IN A ROOM
JUST BECAUSE I WAS A LITTLE BAD
I MADE MY FATHER MAD AND MY MOTHER SAD
AFTER THREE DAYS IT WAS OVER
I COULD COME OUT TO EAT MY FIRST MEAL
BUT ONLY OF MY DEAREST FATHER WAS SOBER

I DECIDED TO WRITE A POEM ABOUT A LITTLE GIRL BEING NEGLECTED BECAUSE ITS REALITY,IT HAPPENS ALMOST EVERYWHERE.I CANT WRITE ABOUT LOVE BECAUSE WE DONT REALLY KNOW WHAT LOVE IS,DO WE?
