As I walk into my home
I wait for you to greet me
I wait for you to fly into the living room to greet me.
I remember you are gone and my heart drops to my stomach
I miss your loud barks and I miss you running around crazy
Just to make me feel happy again
I miss your soft white hair all over my clothing
I miss sneaking you in my room
Those lonely dark nights
I still miss you like crazy
Every day and every night
There is not a second where I do not
You were not just my pet
You were part of my family and you were my best friend
