If I was the moon

For you, I'd build a star

With colors like the ocean

All twisted and bizarre

If I could be the moon

I'd name you the sun

And I'd linger in the day

Until your job is done

If I were the moon

I'd paint you green and blue

To represent the way

That I revolve around you.
