The sun shines upon my face
free of worry for only a while
moments like this I do not waste
not even trying to hide my smile
a warm breeze blows through my hair
A I watch the waves crash
For seconds blink I do not dare
afraid this moment will turn to ash
I glance over at him
he grins quick as a flash
the sun begins to set and dim
the light glimmers over the sea
its only him and me
