It feels like, it feels like the world is a Blood, a Crip, or a KKK.
Yeah they are trying to stop terrorism,
But it just isn't working.
Everyday you'll hear something,
Something not right
A shooting, a robbery, the killing of a kid.
Then somedays,
You hear about your black president.
It's real sad,
If you think...
But it's our world, where we live.

The author's comments:
I was inspired to write poetry from one of my English teachers, Brian. The first day in class we were handed poetry journals and from that day we've been writing poetry in it. After the first day I felt poetry was a great way to express myself. I found this website from a fellow student in the 8th grade.
