It is Always on Fleek to be Unique
Why is it that a flaw
Makes a human feel so raw
Why is being diverse
Such a powerful curse
Why is each imperfection
A source of torturous self reflection
What would happen if we embraced
What could not be erased
Would we be free
Of fearing what people see
If our eyebrows aren't on fleek
Would we realize that we are more unique
If we weren't worried about being in fashion
Could we focus on our passion
Would it be so hard
To give no regard
For what others might think
On Wednesday when we're not wearing pink
So take my advice
Which I give free of price
It is always on fleek
To be unique

This poem is inspired by the things we dislike about ourselves. It is a call to action to accept yourself for who you are flaws and all; and most importantly to remember being unique means you're on fleek.
