Tribute To Best Friends
February 9, 2017
You held my hand while I walked through the storm,
When the winds kept me cold you made me warm.
Even as my storms broke and the skies cleared,
You stayed right with me, close and near.
When the ones I loved left and fell away
You were the one who chose to stay.
Even when pain and tears clouded my eyes
You stayed right here and helped me see through the lies.
When my head filled with rage and I would refuse to change,
You refused to walk away because you said I was acting strange.
Thank you so much for being my friend.
I love you to the moon and back again.
