Our Childhood To Now
You need to take a hot shower for your soreness
Is that something we’re told that has torn us
From when we were born they gave us a shower
Back when our body didn’t have power
Our whole body was weak
Our future wasn’t something to seek
That was our childhood
When we read The Little Engine That Could
But now we’re older
Our choices were supposed to be bolder
We have so many responsibilities
Our goal is to find our best abilities
And this is just the start
Some people will be good at art
Some people will be good at math
Sooner or later I’ll have my own path
