Forever


As time runs out we wonder what happened
How the time went by so fast
And how we came to be who we are today.

As days and years pass by
We wonder why it all had to go so fast
Why the greatest moments had to be the fastest of all
And the worst the slowest

As seconds and minutes speed away we wish they would slow down
That we could have enjoyed a moment a little bit longer
That we could have paused a minutes to last forever

As time runs out we wonder what happened

Forever is something that needs to be held onto'
You can't pause the moments we want, can't make a day last eternity
The only thing that you can do is remember
And most of all realize
That you can't control forever
It just happens.
