Have you ever cried in the middle of the night?
I have and I think that you might
Yes I cried over someone I love
Isn't a symbol of love a heart of a dove?
I know that if love was a crime I'd have to do some time
At camp I loved one person and for 2 weeks he was mine
So have you ever cried in the middle of the night?
If someone took Carter from me there would be a fight
His eyes are like a maze I always get lost in
When said yes to me it felt like a huge win
For a long time I cried myself to sleep
When I first saw him it felt like I died and saw the light
So have you ever cried in the middle of the night?
