Breathing in the dust, the dirt, the laughter the sorrow
On my way to that spot where sight meets clarity

Not away from some tumultuous past
Nor to a promising tomorrow

Letting my legs burn and my throat ache
Allowing the sweat to sting my eyes
Posing as tears
