I BET

I bet apon a star
it diddnt go too far
It smashed into my car
I cursed that plain old star

This one girl was the ace
of her very first third base
She caught the ball with grace
Before she ran the race
I bet her I was faster
She said she was better
we met out by the gutter
Oh was there such a clutter
I couldnt help but stutter while
She slipped through the race like butter
Then asked me who was dumber

I bet the champ of camp
He lit up like a lamp
The room that was soo damp
I slipped and I slipped
I fell with a splattt
as he laughed and laughed just like the cat
with the big flatt hat

The chief who must hate me
Asked for his son too date thee
I declined with my dignity
And he laughed all soo seriously
TOo the point I had too bet on more old dear
smithee mcgee
I be he could win
Again and again
I bet he would beat you till you decide too end
Three steps were all he took
before he gave me and mcgee a look
The look said you win ill pact up my book
TIl we play again
