Blank page stays white.
Because thoughts are jumbled
Crumbled about,
like the mound of crinkled paper
scattered about my feet
A “dream deferred”?
“Naaahhh…” Perhaps—dream nonexistent.
Yet big bubbles of thinking
Are bloomin’ and burstin’ all around me.
Plop.
Drop.
STOP!!
I can’t think…
Mind wanders…
Its funny how one can think of not thinking.
Snap.
Zap.
Crap!!
Minutes tiptoe into hours…
Nevertheless despite the tick and the tock
And the silent lingo happening beneath this neurological rock..
the blank page stays white.
