Blades spinning so close to the sky
just laying in the grass
watching clouds parade by
Blue moon saying ado to the sun
his marvelous part has just begun
he takes the stage by storm
Dissecting the sky into millions of pieces
like shards of life sailing into the ground
Oh, my windmill please sail around
cartwheeling into the infinite sky
oh, dear windmill please don't you stop now
I can see when you look me in the eye
you are shaking
as your foundation tumbles down
windmill, stand your ground
