I am from tears of anguish,
Cries of joy
I am from the happiness of a father
When he has a little boy
I am from the war cries of the Indians
Powder in their guns
I am from the smile of a baby
As bright as the sun
I am what I am,
So don't get it wrong
My priorities are straight
And I am strong
I am what I am
From vast seas and land
I am what I choose to be
For my world rests in my hands
