A God-Sized Hole

By , Eaton, CO

My death was sure and evident,

Of this I’m deeply glad
The peace it brought was greatly relevant,
and welcomed after the life I before had
Nothing good was there before,
everything seemed sad
There was some sort of void in me,
a hollow empty space,
so to who but You could I turn my face
A God-sized hole,
a Savior’s place,
needed to be filled
My death was sure and evident,
I owe this all to You,
and now new life abides in me,
I’ll praise you through and through
