Dear ode to the American Flag
True patriots
Wear them
Everyday.
Soldier's solute
Them.
The red is like
Blood
That was spilled
for our freedom.
The blue is like the
Vast
Open skies.
The white represents
The
Purity.
The stars represent
Our 50 states.
The
United
States
Of
America.
We are all joined by
This piece of cloth.

The flag is important
Us
All
In
Some
Way.
But yet some
Refuse to recognize
The Flag.
Our Flag.
We stand and
Face the Flag.
As a nation
We put our
Right
Over our
hearts.
Remove our
Hats.
Some
Cry.
I feel the
Cold
Ple in my
Hands as
I hoist the
Flag
High.
