Make A Difference
Candles flicker in the wind
You hear whimpering in the night
Footsteps is all you hear
Because you just lost someone dear

If only I could see
If only I could breathe
If only I could say goodbye
Flat line is all I see
Why, oh why couldn't it be me?

Kids crying for the ones they lost
Just because that boy brought a gun
Innocent lives torn apart
Breaking all the hearts
Families in despair
Bloodied clothes, and tattered hair.

If only I could see
If only I could breathe
If only I could say goodbye
Flat line is all I see
Why, oh why couldn't it be me?

So for all those kid's
My advice is
Come together as one in heart and soul
To break down the barrier
Of self discrimination in our class and administrations
So no more blood and tattered hair
All we need is love in the air.

This poem or song was written as a rememberance for all the school shootings that have happened.Nothing really inspired me to write this but just the fact i thought it would be moving.
