She has been gone for so long
I have forgotten her face
It was so long ago
That she left this place
It was his fault she did this
It was his fault she cried
It was his fault she fled
And it was his fault she died
It's been many a night
That I try to recall
The beutiful smile
That has since then withdrawn
I'm trying unsuccessfully
To remember her eyes
I'm trying unsuccessfully
To forget his lies
She's been gone for so long
I have forgotten her face
It was so long ago
That she left this place
