Salvation in Delay

As the world turns left, I turn right,

Rushing through this quiet, quiet night,

I walk by the alley lit up bright,

Everyone is gone out of sight,

As the world turns left, I turn right.

Time slowed down when I realized,

The terrible plan he devised,

They all have gone far, far away,

For the plan of the end is underway,

My love for life is in delay.

The sparrow above lights the path,

My life now is in his hands,

But as night turns to 'nother day,

I see what happened here today,

The path hath not exist on 'nother day,

My salvation is now in delay.

What an interesting rhyming pattern. Excellent theme!
