The Tale of the Cane
The old man goes to grab his cane
He grips it tightly for support
To let it go, could mean to fall
Yet, some daringly take the risk
A daredevil the old man is not
for he grabs is tightly, afraid of what could come
The young holds loosely or not at all,
for the young are not afraid to fall
