my ode to common sense

Common sense is merely a dream,
That has been eased
Out of the minds of many.
Gone,
Like an eraser took to it
And the slate was washed clean
Emptiness and nothing
Every thought in one's own mind,
Has been switched, altered, and changed.
We now are programmed,
Robots,
No more thinking for yourself.
You think and do,
What they want you to.
But,
Who is the mastermind?
