"What makes a flower a flower? And why doesn't the dandelion qualify?" -From my poem "Dandelions"

Ran so fast
I cannot breathe
Beat the wind to the dunes
Surpassed the trees
Hands and toes
Numb with cold
I feel immortal,
I will never grow old
By my side my sisters
We raced along the shore
We are frozen in this memory
Forevermore
