we are all
trapped
together
yet, fate is singular
and no one finds
--the one
but keep looking
crawling
begging
in
and out
--one day
i get up
walk the streets
up
and down
past people
--buildings
around and back
the same street
--thinking
the lights are all on
i sit up
--and listen
