Art blues-

I loved goin to art class, it felt right in my heart,
Oh, I just loved goin to art class, it felt right in my heart,
Twas the best class there ever was and I was glad to be a part.

I use to draw pictures, of buildings and Santa Clause,
Yes, I use to draw pictures, of buildings and Santa Clause,
In art class, I had the best teacher, I think that ever was.

She use to tell us, a little bit goes a long way,
She use to tell us daily, a little bit goes a long way.
We would create masterpieces with our thoughts, and globs of cold clay.

She use to tell us how everything we did was fine art,
Yes, she use to tell us how everything we did was fine art,
Even when we did sculptures and paintings of body parts,

On the day she left us, it was a day I wish I could replace,
Oh on the day she left us, ‘twas a day I wish I could replace,
On that day time stood still, and I couldn’t speed up its slow pace.

The cancer had got her; it consumed her at last,
Yes the cancer had got her; it consumed her at last,
She will always be thought of, ‘cause her love was so vast.
