Fallen City
February 8, 2009
Upon the wall I will aproach
to see the city I will encroach
to follow the cricular path of time
to be enveloped in the king's fallen shrine
to see the crowds thronging
to gather their wretched belongings
to soak in the fire
to see the city begin to tire.
I know not of what I will say
to only witness this ominous day
with glory, so far out of grasp
to be in the army, cloaked and masked.
