When in the course of human events
It becomes necessary for one people
To earn the pay we make each day
We wait.
(Because we're entitled)

When in the course of human events
It becomes necessary for one people
To lend a hand to our fellow man
We watch.
(Because it's not our problem)

When in the course of human events
It becomes necessary for one people
To intercede in times of need
We might.
(Because we may benefit)

When in the course of human events
It becomes necessary for one people
To do what is right despite the plight
We can't.
(Because it's too risky)

We hold these truths to be self-evident
The epitome of the American Dream

Don't think
Just do
Someone will eventually fix it for you!

The most wholesome and necessary for the public good
(As long as we make out okay)

So bring out the fife and beat your drum,
Were all for one
(And one for none)

So what say you?
Come join our ranks!
Among the blessed
(And somewhat free)

If it's all the same to you,
Maybe'
I'll find another dream.
(You'll see)
