Air conditioning, you truly are my dear.
Without you I would not be here.
Tucked away in some hole I would probably be.
Trying to shelter from the cold but failing catastrophically.
Air conditioning you keep me from having to do so.
Air conditioning you truly are an unsung hero.
Day in and day out humming quietlyaway.
Warming and cooling me in your sweet embrace.
Without you I would not be able to walk in my underwear at night.
For I might contract a serious case of frostbite.
Air conditioning you truly are my dear.
Oh, I love you, at least until I receive my energy bill.

Instead of writing poems on sappy subjects such as; the meaning of life, what love is, and being a super duper friend, I like to write about normal everyday things and what is more ordinary and unappreciated than air conditioning?
