Death is always here
She lost her sleep
Wondering what was going on
She confronted them, and then she was gone
Taken into the shadow
Quiet and slow
She thought she knew them well
She thought she knew, but it was all untrue
Death stole her, away from the world
Her cold body crushed with their hands.
They turned her inside out.
A gasp of fear.
A shriek of silent pain.
And that was the end.
Death made sure no one would ever see her again.
