The ticking of a clock
A ticking in my ear
A hallow sound
Only I can hear
A lonely sound
Filled with forlorn and tears
It's a homesick sound
Only I can hear
The whistle of the wind
A whistle very near
A musical sound
Only I can hear
A fearsome sound
Of fake strength and tears
It's a homesick sound
Only I can hear
The whisper of the night
Spoken words of fear
A frightening sound
Only I can hear
It's the sound of depression
Of loneliness and tears
It's a homesick sound
That only I can hear
