A Civil War Father Searches For His Son
(A Poem Examining The Sacrifes Of War)

Victory Won For All
Fields Of Freedom Drenched In Blood
Coats Run With Blood Red As Themselves
Moans heard In The Far Distance
Followed By A Deep Choke
A Young Man Lay In His Father's Arms

Prayer Is Recited As A Plea For Forgiveness
Death Surrounds All
A Black Cloud Burns
Then A Sudden Shout
A Final Shot Taken
The Grown Man Cries No More
A Young Man Still, Lay In His Father's Arms
