I am like a marionette
held up by these strings called emotions
people I trust most
people I love
are always pulling on these strings
controlling my every move
taking away my free will.
I am like a marionette
people play with my strings time after time
until they get tired of me and pass me on
nobody has saved me.
I am like a marionette
held by these strings called emotions
trapped in an endless cycle
called betrayal.
Please clip these strings
that leave me anchored
to these insecurities you created.
