I loved you
Those days
I wondered when it did start
A 9-year-old torn apart
And then I find you
With art and basketball
And it got into
Oh I know I don't fly until I fall
Oh I should of known that I fell before I flew
And oh did I thought I was flyin'
High
Oh so high
And I was tryin'
But for 3 weeks you didn't call
And I thought I lost it all
And I try to forget you
Between school years,
Playing summer games,
With The Boys of Yesterday

Between school years
Playin' those games
With The Boys of Yesterday

And of course I knew them before you
Always was tomboy, that's true
But it didn't help,
You were always on my mind
And I wondered when it did start
With a 9-year-old torn apart
As I met you
You, you , you, and Ohh that's true
And I try to forget you
Yes I, tried to forget you
Still do
Between school years,
Playin' summer games,
With The Boys of Yesterday

Of Yesterday
Those Summer games
Baseball and basketball
Run the bases, oh it all
Those summer games,
Between school years,
Playin', oh playin' summer games
With The Boys of Yesterday

To forget you

Yesterday'''

This is pretty much the best poem I've seen so far. This should win, hands down.
