They keep saying that I'm like you,
And every time I hear it I hate it,
But as the time goes,
I'm starting to resemble a previous shadow,
Now I know the path I'm on,
And I must turn away,
While I can,
Cause I see what you've become,
And what you've been through,
That is a path that I never want to walk,
But I'm almost there,
So close but so far away,
Now I need to turn,
For I am my own man,
I follow no shadow!
