"I have no fear of losing my life - if I have to save a koala or a crocodile or a kangaroo or a snake, mate, I will save it." -Steve Irwin

When the ocean sings a song,
The waves clap their applause,
When I look, I see the ripples of beauty,
While time reveals its ingenuity.

When the sky turns gray,
The clouds cry out in dismay,
When I look, I see something distraught,
But at the same time more happy than not.

When the wind howls its name,
The trees shake in shame,
When I look, I see two pieces,
As their duty for one another increases.

When the grass whistles,
The Earth turns to the melody,
When I look, I see a  flawless harmony,
Between wind grass and the Earth beneath my feet.

When you ask me what I see, I will tell you what my heart sees,
But when you ask what I hear, I will tell you what my heart feels.

This is a piece of writing... and heart. What inspired me to write the piece was a very strong feeling. A feeling that more people need to realize that everybody has wisdom. The Earth speaks to all of us, and if we listen, we can hear it. The Earth has many secrets, ancient as time they are, that can give us unending enlightenment. If you open your eyes, you almost hear the wind start to speak....
