The three pillars of support
That hold up our nation
Have started to crumble
No time for procrastination

We've got to rebuild
Redesign and restore
To make the pillars
Even stronger than before

Barack, the architect, has agonized
Over the blueprints and plan
Carefully choosing contractors and crews
He repeats his mantra, 'Yes, we can'

First they will work on unity
The pillar that supports the rest
It holds us together
And must be returned to its crest

Next comes faith
Which he wants to completely redo
Belief in ourselves and country
Is what he wants from you

Last is dedication
The hardest one of all
The most pressure is on this pillar
So it needs to be strong and tall

January 21st is the day we break ground
There is no time for delay
But the right man has been chosen
And he will lead the way.
