Flight of an Eagle

By
Why can't i soar
Away from stress
Above the insults
Through the clouds of hurt
Like the flight of an Eagle

I pay no regard to the ground
The shackles of expectation laying broken and bent
Lead weights of conflict falling down
I am free
As I fly as an eagle

But in my exuberance
I feel something heavy
Pulling me down, back to earth
Stronger than anything
The sight of a Failing eagle

My responsibility
My family
My friends
Are worth the burdens I carry
More imprtant than anything
An eagle reborn
