A broken soul lies within me

the reminder of a love lost

this soul will live forever

as evidence of loves cost

When my body parishes

my heart ground in the dust

my soul will fly in sorrow

a consequence of untamed lust

I've caused such pain on myself

I knew the result of desire

but I could not let go of the feeling

that set my heart on fire

Aburning magnet

only attracting me

a feeling of such love

setting my soul free

Now I know it was an error

to love so strong and live so free

because now my soul suffers

and all of our love's debts are left to me

Now we are broken apart

our souls no longer one

only our sadness overwhelms us now

and sorrowful days are yet to come
