I am that story in the human heart,
I could possibly live within you
If you knew me well enough to be considered a friend or foe.

I could be your lies, your truth, your dares.
I can be your actions, your words.
I could even be your emotions
          that tie them all together.
I could make your heart beat faster,
Or I could make it skip a beat.
I could make you trip over the air,
I could even be your habits.

Oh what fun this is, being you being me.
For just by being myself,
Just by the way I look,
JUST by the way I talk.
I can control you.
I know what people are scared of talking about.
I know what makes you feel -
Like your heart was mixed with honey and acid.
All with three or more words.
Even one.
I live inside your heart and head;
As a memory never to go away.
And once you remember-
You’re going to clutch your heart,
Wondering what I had done to you.
And I wont be able to answer.
Because the pain you put me through
         before I knew you…
You controlled me before I controlled you.

I want people to like me, to understand that I've changed since that one day where I may have hurt them enough that they'd never forget it. But our past, our memories controll our fear and our love for others.
