The Title of This Poem Is “Untitled”
No, you can’t write a poem without a title.
A poem without a title shouldn’t really be a poem at all
It would be uncertain and shameful
And a disgrace to all other poems
A poem with no title
Is like toast with no butter
Or a clock with no hands
A poem with no title should be banned for good
Because a poem with no title
Is like a lemon with no juice
Or the Earth with no fun
No, it just cannot be done,
You can’t write a poem without a title.
A poem with no title
Is like an athlete with no talent
Or a universe with no stars
A poem with no title
Is like an egg with no yolk
Or a school with no learning
It is impossible, completely and utterly
Impossible.
You simply cannot write a poem with no title.
