Sitting on the Fence
Sitting on the fence with you,
Is not a walk in the park.
It's not going to see a movie,
It's not kissing in the dark.
Sitting on the fence with you,
Is like insulting me to my face.
Telling me I'm not good enough,
Then putting me in 'my place'.
Instead of sitting on the fence,
How about we jump off?
If backwards, we will fall apart,
If forwards I promise to give you my heart.
But just sitting here, I've had enough.
I'm tired of trying to be tough.
I'm tired of waiting for you to grow up,
I've just decided to give up.
