As I look out at the world,
Shining within my skin,
Imagining what everyone else is doing,
Wondering if there is another person out there,
Looking out at the world,
Just like me...
As I view the sunset and the beams shine across my face,
I am aware of my solitude,
But I am never lonely,
I am never afraid,
I am just me,
Together with that sunset,
And I view the world as my playground,
Letting my talents run wild,
And wondering which one to play with first...
As I look out at the world,
I know I am free,
I know I am inventive,
I know I am gifted,
Because while everyone else is focused on material things,
I can see the sun!
