Darkness….
Where the light cannot come
Where the light cannot be

Everywhere else the light reigns
From the deserts of Africa
To the forests of Brazil
The dark waits for light to restrain

It has no ruler
Has no throne
It has no chair that it owns
But the dark is king
To the light’s dark… shadows

The shadows are servants
That light takes control
Of when they are
And when they aren’t

The shadows are darkness
That have succumbed to the light
They have no power
No strength, no might

The darkness’ power
Is good only alone
If light is with darkness
Then shadows arise

The light acts as a ruler
In a world of two equals
One is bright, the other not
But light always rules
