Blank paper is
An empty slate
Waiting
to be transformed,
Into
Swirling words,
And playful dragons,
Something,
Anything,
But blank.

Blank paper in
A promise
Rings.
It is to become my fate,
And I its
Slave.
A burden,
Until
Inspiration strikes,

And with a fury,
I scramble,
To find
The right words,
Perfect rhyme,
Beautiful
Harmony
To put upon
The perfectly
White
Sheet of
Blank paper.

And finally,
After agony
And agony
Again,
Unto blank paper
My heart, my pen,
My soul
Sweetly sings.

This piece is about how hard it is to write something, expecially when you have to (like for aschool assignment). It is also about how great and natural it feels when you finally get it perfect.
