I am Titanic
The maiden voyage; the greatest ship ever created,
I am ready…yet I am nervous as well…
I am Titanic…
The Olympic could never match my brilliance,
The Britannic lacks my majestic disposition,
I am Titanic…
My elegance and beauty attracted the finest of people,
It was to be a voyage of historical significance…
It was, yet for the different reasons than those initially perceived
I am Titanic…
My People screamed after the collision,
They knew time was short,
I was supposed to be invincible,
I am Titanic…
I am immovable; I am unsinkable,
Maybe that’s why the flares were mistaken for fireworks…
I am Titanic…
Not everybody can be saved, this I know
Panic ensues…women and children first!
I am Titanic…
As lifeboats run out, so does hope…
The mob becomes wreck less and irrational,
The last hope of rescue is washed away by the blood…
I am Titanic…
To the bottom of the Atlantic I sank…
An unexpected, eerie silence follows,
1517 passengers perished that night...
I am Titanic…
