Broken Mirror

January 18, 2009
By Eva Crawford, New York, NY

Mirror, mirror on the wall,
Who's the fairest of them all,
She was what the Kings chose,
To be a bride,
To strike a pose,

When the happiness ran out,
Her mind filled with doubt,
She ran into something new,
A drunken group of few,

She lay there broken,
Inside and out,
Nothing to fear,
Nothing to doubt,

Pain had faded,
She was drifting away,
A burning sensation,
She didn't have it her way,

Three days and she awoke,
Her marriage she wished to revoke,
A human before,
A vampire forever more,

Mirror, mirror on the wall,
Who's the fairest of them all...
