In the Middle of the World

In the middle of the world
The desire is strong,
The crust is intimidating.

While we strive for greatness,
The thrill is what we fear most.
Even at the brink of success,
Those who reach it still are in distress.
The dreamers , they discover,
The analyzers, they understand,
The perspective is unearthly,
For all creation and man.

Believers teach their thoughts,
Thinkers explain their reasons,
Exactly how are we on this earth?
What do you believe in?
Concepts strength far and wide
But not one has come to an agreement

Some out live us all
You never no what will be our own downfall
All we know is nothing is real without feelings
Nothing can be explained without heart
Maybe we seek warmth from others to find the truth

Faith is what some choose to believe in
While others choose a different path
Peace between the world is unheard of
The fighters scream nationalism
The killers scream blood
Maybe it isn’t about that
Maybe we’re supposed to come together as one

In the middle of the world
The desire is strong,
The crust is intimidating.
And nobody gets out alive.
