I Was Not Alone

Nobody home but me
Silence Fills the Air
Bored as one could be
I was not alone

Laying awake at night
Paralyzed by fear
Waiting for morning’s light
I was not alone

Locked up inside my room
Tears dripping down my face
Representing my gloom
I was not alone

So much misunderstanding
No one understands me
Only anger it would bring
I was not alone

Every moment of my life
During all my blessings
Through all my strife
I was not alone

In everything I went through
In everything I experience
In everything I will do
I am never alone.
