Coldest of Seasons

January 12, 2009
By Anonymous

Leaves swirling amiss
No where else to
Go but down
The fall of leaves
Drown in the
Stream of a creek
Such a sight
Not all can see
But those leaves
Eternally changing
Soon meet up
With seasons
Other than its own
A cold dark
Winter takes
Over in this
Bleak December
Where only fire
Burns in the depths
Of the soul
Shattered glass
Now put back together
Like stitching an old
And wounded heart
While so many things
May happen the
Seasons keep on flowing
Like a river
